Description
The cycle test or durability test, as its name suggests, examines the durability of the internal parts of the valve, including stem, hub, hub plating, and especially Teflon and O-rings.
The number of opening and closing cycle of valve handle is different for different sizes and this device has the ability to test samples of gas and water valves from size 1.2 to 4. The method of testing the durability of gas and water valves is different, although the number of cycles in similar sizes is similar in these two types of products. For example, for 1/2″ gas and water size, the number of 500 opening and closing cycles is defined in the relevant standards.
